There are many blogs on Tumblr devoted to showcasing comments/reviews of the series, usually of a macabre or humorous nature.

After the original game was released on September 24, 2008, YouTuber LazyPillow uploaded a video titled RWD: MEET'N'FUCK parodying the series (see below).

On October 12, 2010, YouTuber powerth96 uploaded the song that played during the sex scenes of several games in the series (see below). As of June 2015, the video has been viewed nearly 60,000 times. The song is titled "Vse vogon - Pesnya Tsarevni" by Hi-Fi band.

Several YouTubers have made Let's Plays of the series. On July 2, 2012, YouTuber HOT and SEXY (games) uploaded a video of him playing through the game

(shown at bottom left). As of June 2015, the video has been viewed nearly 450,000 times. On February 16, 2014, YouTuber Manslave and Boris uploaded a video of them playing the game

During its lifespan, the series has been criticized by several people for stealing artwork from more popular visual novels and passing it off as original content. One of the earlier examples of this comes from Newgrounds user IAmTheSpoon, who started a thread on November 24, 2009 stating that he believes the game series uses stolen artwork. Soon after, others in the thread started defending the thread, saying that IAmTheSpoon had no proof and that he should just "whistle on [your thread]. That's why he's there."

On October 23, 2011, in a thread about the series on HongFire, user Boppy stated that he found it funny that the game stole artwork and passed it off as an original.

Later that day, fellow user Keiji Maeda replied to user Laggardy, who added that he came to a similar conclusion after doing some research on the matter. Laggardy's original message has since been deleted
